Government rant....

Ok times are tough right now... everybody every has to find ways to cut corners, including our local governments... But what gets me is there are certain things that jsut shouldnt be touched.... and one is education it irks me beyond belief that in stead of cutting administrations you are askign schools to cut out stuff.. liek special teachers, special ed teachers arent a luxtury they are a need.. adn then to expect the regular teachers to take over that responsiblity is insane... the schools here in hawaii are bare minimum... no ac, kids sweat they are required to bring bottled water with them so they dont dehydrate, they dont have play ground eqip ment... they run aroudn playign chase in a half dirt area... very few balls...the class numbers are insane..The teachers already teach music.. adn they only get P.E. once every 2 weeks cuase they only have one teacher for 900 kids.. kearas class has 33 in it already adn they are adding more... they can bring home books cause there arent enough... adn they want them to cut more budgets... whats next? less teachers? lets jstu drop out english they can do with out that.... our school doesnt evenahve a kitchen the food is cooked at a nearby middle school adn then taken to our kids... i dont understand how this is acceptable? But there are very few alternatives, one is paying 600 a month PER CHILD for private school, and te second is home school them.. neither are really options that will work for us... first who they hell has 1800 a month plus uniforms and books to send thekids to private school? adn home schooling is somethign you have to alot to do... i am not paitent enough or smart enough.... so i am stuck to complain and struggle through with mu children hoping that what they are getting is enough.... adn pray to return to the mainland where schools are at least beter equipped....

Cel Phones

They make our lives so much more convenient... when lost or late for a meeting or staying in contact with families and friends over the many miles... BUT OMG THEY really really drive me nuts..sometimes i wonder if it isn't just me.. I have some strange gene in my body that makes it so that all electronics HATE me.... That they find a way to malfunction at the most inconvient time for me... when ti will frustrate me the most... when my hubby (who has electricity running through his blood) isn't around to rescue me!! And now Cel phones are the newest scam makers... i jsut caught some charges to MY cel number for a dating service from detroit... now really i woudl be looking for a new man in detroit... never stepped foot there... never ever heard of the place.... adn the a game cheats one.... cause i need game cheats... they got us for at least 40 if not more.. not sure how long they had hacked into my accoutn but i caught them sent them nasty emails adn put blocks on my phones...so they cant do that to us any more... why do people have to be dishonest and mean and steal other peoples money why cant they jsut go out adn ge thonest jobs and make their own... so jsut call me electronically frustrated!

yeah so its my luck that jsut when pennies are tight i drop my cel phone into a glass of water.. yes my line life to the outside world is now not working... sure hoping that it dries out.... soon!!!! or i might go insane!

Addicted to Twilight

I get to blame somethign on my baby sister.... she got me addicted to this new book serise adn i wanna scream i want every waking moment to be in the books cant stop thinking about what ways the story is gonna go... their lives are interesting to me... i want to know what happens next... i was very upset to hear thatshe wasnt gona write anymore case her confidence was breeched but.... i hope that with the sucess of the upcoming movie that iw ill be sitting at on november 21st..... that she will change her mind and continue writing as there are sooooo many different stories that are out there...a bout so many different characters... MORE MORE I WANT MOREEEEEE~!!!!

Talk Shows

Was watching Tv today like i normally do as i race around the house cleaning all the disaster that is here... and a new show came on ... The Bonnie Hunt show... i was like heck i should check this out see what its all about.... talk show hosts are a dime a dozen.. but i always like Bonnie hunt when she had her sitcom... so why not... usually they love to make a fool of their guests or get to the bottom of some huge thing that is going on in the world... And the good ones actually show you a little of themselves....and i have come to the conclusion that bonnie hunt is just like everyone else.. she has her mom on the show often... and she calls looking for people who used to be in her life... she is one of those people that i really believe that she is genuine.. that she cares... she did a sketch with kids... and she was so concerned for one of little boys that she followed up during her next show to help build him up and give him some confidence... I felt better for wasting an hour of my life watching the boob tube..

My 35th Birthday

What a wonderful day. My Neighbor Took on the task of taking my kids for the whole day. While Jaum and i just went and did whatever we felt like. We went and paid the nice man for my bird and took her to visit her brothers. Then we went for a beautiful drive around this island with out the kids yelling and complaining how boring we are and its hot in the car.... we went to a mall and looked at the places that WE wanted too.... Then I got Jaum to get a Pedicure with me.. it was nice and i love that He got a little pampering too.. Since He spends his whole life spoiling Me. And i am truly spoiled... I never want.... Then we did a little Christmas shopping and He bought me a new sewing machine since mine has decided to rebel against everything... right in the middle of my Christmas sewing!!! Then we went to dinner at a Fancy steak house... where we were waited on hand and foot... and weren't worried about the chicken nuggets burning someones mouth.. it was weird...But a welcomed change... then we hurried home to rescue the neighbor from our children... who had a great day at the pool and playing with friends... and didn't fight all day long UNTIL i walked in the house! imagine that! smiles.then Jaum disappeared and went and got me my favorite Haupia Cake (coconut).. I count my blessings, i have a husband who loves me, kids that are great...good kids..even if they fight each other, GREAT friends who are there when i need them and always offer me a chance to help them out! Even those who are far far away from me. I just hope that I make them feel as loved and lucky as I do!!! I am a Very Very Lucky lady!
